Below are our carefully considered policies to ensure a seamless and delightful experience.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges:

At Scacco Matto Art, we pride ourselves on offering exquisite fine art prints, canvas prints, and framed prints that are crafted specifically for you upon order. Given the custom nature of our artwork, we are unable to accept returns. Should your art piece arrive damaged or if there’s an error in your order, we kindly request that you provide photographic evidence. Upon review, we will promptly arrange for a replacement to correct any issues.

Exchanges? Yes, we do!

Unframed prints can be exchanged within 30 days of delivery. However, due to the bespoke nature of our framed, canvas prints, and any prints larger than 11x14 inches, these are considered final sale. To be eligible for an exchange, items must be in their original, unused condition and include all original packaging. Please note, return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility, and all exchanges are subject to a 20% restocking fee. For items not returned in their original condition, a deduction of up to 50% of the item's price may be applied. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

When will your art journey begin?

The preparation time for shipping varies by item—please see individual listings for details. Our estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • North America: 3-5 business days

  • Europe: 1-2 weeks

  • Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania: 1-3 weeks

  • Asia Pacific: 2-6 weeks

  • Latin America and the Caribbean: 1-3 weeks

  • North Africa and the Middle East: 2-6 weeks

  • Sub-Saharan Africa: 2-6 weeks

While we strive to meet these estimates, actual delivery times might vary. Please understand that we cannot guarantee delivery dates.

International Customers: Please be aware that you are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Delays due to customs are beyond our control, and Scacco Matto Art is not liable for such delays.

Packaging & Shipping Methods:

Every piece from Scacco Matto Art is meticulously packaged we protect our fine art paper prints by placing them into a clear plastic bag before shipping. After being bagged, art prints up to 9x12" are mailed inside cardboard stay-flat envelopes. Prints larger than this are mailed inside kraft mailing tubes.  We primarily ship via USPS, offering First Class, Priority, and Priority Express options—each varying in insurance coverage and delivery guarantees. Lost or Undelivered Packages:

Responsibility for lost or stolen packages is not assumed by Scacco Matto LLC once delivery is confirmed. If your package does not arrive as expected, we encourage selecting Priority Express for its insurance benefits. Should your order be returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees will be required for reshipment. Please ensure your shipping details are accurate upon checkout, including when sending gifts directly to recipients.
